Quorum
It was determined that more than 50% of the members were present, constituting a quorum.

Attendence Issues
It was noted that attendence has been spotty, and that getting the members physically co-located has been difficult.
Suggestions made to handle this issue included:

Use of electronic discussion between meetings
Rotating the meeting location
Possibly changing the meeting time from Sunday night
Possibly allowing virtual attendence at meetings (chat, phone, etc.)

Brokerages
Leroy presented a report on the two potential brokerages (E*Trade and mydiscountbroker.com).
Neither brokerage required notarixation to open an account, but E*Trade offered integrated banking services. E*Trade also required a $1000 minimum deposit to open an account.
E*Trade was selected as the club's brokerage by a 5-0 vote.

Financial Partner
With the resignation of Joel Schander, the club was left without a Financial Partner. Leroy Cain was elected interim Financial Partner.

Next Meeting
The next meetin was scheduled for October 22 at John Rogers' home.

Action Items
Leroy to get E*Trade forms, fill them out, and bring them to the next meeting.
Nick to print out new partnership agreement and let people know that they need to bring new checks.
